Comic legend to speak to Medway schoolchildren

KENT NEWS: The former editor of the legendary Marvel Comics will hold a cartoon workshop for 12 to 16-year-olds at three Medway libraries on Monday.

 Tim Quinn, who has worked on other titles such as Sparky, Topper and Dr Who, will introduce the youngsters to the world of cartoon greats such as Spiderman, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.

He will also be teaching them about figure drawing, story-telling in pictures and the history of comic books.

Mr Quinn will appear at Strood Library from 10am, Chatham Library from 1.30pm before his final visit at Gillingham Library from 4.30pm.
